Reached Masters league for the first time in his StarCraft II career on May 14, 2013. The only player and captain of the Axiom B-team. Began casting GomTV, Brood War, games in English for his college friends. He ended up covering Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl". Said he would do something embarrassing if Glider won the Youtube On The Rise contest. Co-founder of TheGameStation, a popular YouTube channel and company under Maker Studios that focuses on improving gaming media on the internet at the beginning, only Starcraft channels were partnered (though it has greatly expanded since), and currently Artosis, HDstarcraft, TotalBiscuit, Moletrap and Day9 have channels partnered with TGS. He was featured in a YouTube animated series called "Husky Tales", created by SaveAsAwesome and voiced by Husky and other special guests. Was a member of Nerd Alert, a StarCraft-related pop group with Kurt Schneider. Still maintains a small cult following on Reddit. He was invited to cast a variety of tournaments including the TS元, the GeForce Pro/Am, MLG Anaheim 2011, MLG Raleigh 2011, and the After Hours Gaming League. This tournament featured some of the best foreign players of the beta and had the biggest prize pool of any tournament until the release of the game. Husky, with HDstarcraft, ran the HDH Invitational a 16 man tournament which was the biggest StarCraft II tournament at the time. 
Husky ran a popular YouTube channel (HuskyStarcraft), which he closed in August of 2018 after a long period of silence, moving on to other non-Starcraft related projects. Mike "Husky" Lamond is an American former StarCraft II caster originally from Oregon, but currently living in California.
